The Hands Across Canberra, Canberra Day Appeal was officially launched on 19 February.
Hands Across Canberra is community foundation whose Canberra Day Appeal is designed to assist small to medium charities in Canberra with raising funds in Canberra for Canberra.
The Canberra Day Appeal which runs until 10 March is an important fundraising opportunity for CRS.
CRS will receive a matching amount dollar for dollar from Hands Across Canberra for the first $2,500 in donations to CRS. There is another opportunity to gain extra funds in this appeal. The small and the medium charity that receives the most unique donations during the campaign period will each receive an additional $1,000. Please encourage your friends to give to CRS through this appeal. For their donation to count for this competition they will need to give through the following link.

CRS has set a target of $20,000 for the Canberra Day Appeal. These funds directly support asylum seekers and refugees with rent, living and educational expenses to help them settle into Canberra, find work and become valuable members of our community. Please give generously and spread the news to your friends and colleagues at work. Thanks for your support over recent years. Your giving has made a real difference in the lives of around 50 families a year over this period.
