CRS is currently supporting approximately 35 households of asylum seekers and refugees to become as independent as soon as possible in our city. At the heart of our work is human connection: being good neighbours, making people welcome in Canberra, and building community with families, couples and individuals who are looking for a safe place.
To become a volunteer with CRS you must first join CRS as a member. Members pay $40 biannual membership. For more information about becoming a member please see our membership page.
Once you become a member you may simply stay a member or you may decide to become a volunteer. Volunteers often interact directly with our familes and require a WWVP card. For more information regarding volunteers please see our volunteer page.
