A Syrian asylum-seeker finds himself in a purgatorial state on a remote Scottish island, in this melancholic comedy from Ben Sharrock.

Before the main feature we will show a prizewinning short film “Ayaan” by young Australian director Alies Sluiter.
Tickets: $25.00 pp which includes a donation to the Canberra Refugee Support’s ‘Geoff McPherson Scholarship Program’
The purpose of the scholarships is to acknowledge and provide recognition of meritorious performance, and to encourage and support outstanding refugee students. The scholarships help the students cover education related costs such as fees, books, computers, or other materials for their studies
