As part of the ACT’s recognition of UNHCHR Refugee Week, Canberra Refugee Support recognised the commitment of 40 ACT region refugees to their education. An Education Awards presentation ceremony was held on 20 June where the awards were presented by ACT Minister for Multicultural Affairs Ms Tara Cheyne MLA, and UNHCR Deputy Regional Representative Mr Nai Jit Lam.
