“THE OLD OAK” A “feel good” movie about the placement of a group of Syrian refugees in a depressed town in Northeast England. Australian release later in the year.

In 2022, CRS provided 46 Geoff McPherson Scholarship awards at a total value of $33,400.  These included 26 awards for college students and adults in post-secondary education, 7 awards for secondary school students, and 13 awards for primary school students.’

St Paul’s Manuka has been raising funds for the Geoff McPherson CRS Scholarship Program for several years and last year donated $2,310 for the 2024 Awards.
